These gorgeous limited edition Welsh blankets have been designed in collaboration between Harford House and London Cloth Co. They are made on Victorian-era weaving looms at Elvet Mill in Carmarthen using 100% British wool.
The pattern is a Caernarfon Portcullis design which has been in use since the 18th Century.
This variation is made with additional wool from Donegal, Ireland. This is a very special wool made by Donegal Yarns, a family-owned business which focuses on sustainability and heritage throughout all aspects of their production. The wool has a slight flecked effect which adds depth to the overall weave.
