Home is a profoundly important space. As a designer I feel my strongest skill is creating spaces that feel authentic to my clients: I see my role as your experienced and knowledgeable collaborator, not as someone to impose a design or outcome. Sensitivity is essential to this work, and I have often been told by clients that I’ve understood and visualised for them what they couldn’t quite articulate.

I founded Harford House in 2021 after gaining a following on social media for my decorating style. Before that I earned a first class degree from Christ’s College, Cambridge and then a PGCert from UCL before working as an early education teacher in London and Kenya. Nothing prepares you for managing a project like managing 31 small children.
